Meet Nick Dresti, AKA DJ Space Cowboy: personal DJ for Lady Gaga (and co-writer of several of her songs), protege of Fatboy Slim, remixer of Paul McCartney, Fergie and The Darkness (among many others), recording artist and clotheshorse.
The French phenom is seen here at the legendary retail spot Decade in Pittsburgh sporting WF's Queen Crazy Tour tee.
Fun facts: His debut album, Across the Sky (released on Fatboy's Southern Fried label), was Japan's third-biggest electronica release of 2004. His new collection (and U.S. debut), Digital Rock Star, hit store shelves and iPhones in October of this year.
Another fun fact: the Queen Crazy Tour T-shirt is available right here, and can be had for 25% off (if you order by midnight tonight, 11/30).
The headline says it all: We've gone completely around the bend, and from Oct. 12-18 you can benefit from our insanity by snagging tees like these ...
... and these ...
... and these ...
... and plenty more besides in women's sizes at a mind-blowing HALF OFF. Head on over to WornFree.com on Monday and start shopping before we regain our tenuous hold on reality. As the boilerplate says, while supplies last.
Sales, sales, sales. We've got so many coming up it's nuts.
Every week, we'll be featuring a Worn Free T-Shirt of the Week, which will be obtainable at a tasty 25% discount. For how long, you ask? Um, a week. Then the same deal will apply to another shirt. (We know most of you had figured that out from the title of this post, but the lawyers want us to idiot-proof this thing.)
On to business. This week's killer deal is on the graphically devout Keith Moon Jesus Saves.
Grab one and you'll save too; just enter GIMME25 as the coupon code when you check out. Head on over to Worn Free and explore -- we've got more amazing deals coming soon, not to mention a wealth of ridiculously cool new designs.
Perhaps you've seen these snipes all over New York, featuring French electro-house impresario and uber-producer David Guetta, his arms extended beatifically over the writhing, shimmying masses. And perhaps you've noticed his groovy John Lennon Come Together shirt, yet another delicious design from La Maison de Worn Free.
Guetta's been causing a lot of worlds to come together lately, with his ultra-catchy fusion of dance, hip-hop and pop and an all-star cast of collaborators including Black Eyed Peas, Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland, Akon and Estelle.
And that image of him in our tee makes us want to fly to Ibiza and jump into the middle of a foam-filled dance club. But then, what doesn't?
Just because our massively successful, fireworks-and-burger-filled 4th of July sale is over doesn't mean you have to stop saving. Just ask Amy Willard of the extremely cool (and aesthetically pleasing) online music mag Barricade Buzz, seen with Justin Richards, Nick Santino and Eric Halvorsen of the band A Rocket To The Moon. Amy's rocking our Debbie Harry Punk tee, one of several designs worn by the Blondie singer and fashion goddess -- all of which are now on sale at 10% off (with free shipping).
It's part of our ongoing Deborah Harry Birthday Sale, which continues through July 15. Just use coupon code RAPTURE at checkout.
But that's not all. Barricade Buzz is actually giving away another of our Debbie shirts (the paparazzi-defying No Pictures), so head on over there and enter to win!
Here it is: the final of our four May Madness mega-bargains. I'm referring to the badass Dee Dee Ramone Snake Farm tee, available at a steep 25% discount until month's end (be sure to enter coupon code MADMAY).
Modeled on the serpentine splendor of Dee Dee's '70s original (snapped in London, after the Ramones had infected the U.K. once again with the aggro three-chord mayhem they'd bred in Queens), this menacing motif will hypnotize your metal, glam and punk pals alike.
But don't roll snake eyes by missing it -- May Madness will gave way to June, er, rationality in no time at all. So Gabba Gabba get on it.
How nice to see our wares snuggled amid the stylish offerings featured in American Rag's home-page video. Fashion-conscious types are no doubt aware of this rockin' emporium, but for those who aren't, you'll want to spend some time perusing their shelves. Even if you're more comfortable buying your WF shirts from our easy-to-use website (where four designs are on sale at 25% off through 5/31 with coupon code MADMAY), the fact remains that we can't sell you jeans, sneakers, cowboy boots, vintage ties, scarves, hats or jewelry. Not yet, anyway.
You may recall past posts rhapsodizing about the late, great Mick Ronson, who was not only a brilliant guitarist (who brought fire and brimstone to Bowie's glam classics, Lou Reed's Transformer, Ian Hunter's pub-rock soliloquies and a classic Dylan tour, among other things) but also a dynamite arranger and quite a talented singer-songwriter in his own right.
You might also have read our passionate screed about why he belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
But as today would've been the man's 64th birthday, we'll just say two things:
1. Happy Birthday, Mick. We miss you like hell.
2. Wearing Mick's face or the designs he wore on your torso is not a bad way to celebrate a great artist and a primary architect of the glam sound.
You might also track down some of Mick's lovely solo work.
In other news: Our May Madness sale continues. Stay tuned. And please follow us on Twitter; don't make us ask again.
