Debbie Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke of Blondie are seen here reporting to VH1 at the Brooklyn Museum's "Who Shot Rock and Roll" exhibit; stellar drummer Burke sports our John Lennon You Are Here T-shirt, another little bit of rock history.

Cruz Beckham: Born to Be Bad

Cruz Beckham - Born to Be Bad
Cruz Beckham - Born to Be Bad
Celebrity youngster Cruz Beckham, seen here taking in a Lakers game with famous parents David and Victoria Beckham, may be the world's youngest exponent of Worn Free wear.

You'll recall how he electrified the paparazzi by appearing for a play/photo op in his Gram Parsons Flying Burrito Bros. tee a while back.  Well, he's at it again, this time in our Joan Jett Born to Be Bad tee.

Of course, this lad was born to be photographed and adored, but he certainly has a bit of his dad's bad-boy appeal, which will undoubtedly grow over the years.  In the meantime, he's already on the cutting edge of fashion for his demo.

(Thanks to PopSugar.com for this awesome photo.)

Be a Rock Star for Halloween (at 25% Off)

Steve Ford Panel
Steve Ford Panel

You may recognize Steve Ford, the irrepressible proprietor of Decade in Pittsburgh.  The photos above, which he kindly furnished, show what he used to turn himself into a rock star using only a couple of Worn Free tees and assorted household items.

And given the cost of a fancy get-up, we advise you to follow his lead and dress up like a rock star this Halloween. It's easy -- and to make it even easier, grab yourself a stylish, comfy Worn Free shirt and take 25% off.

Steve made himself up as Kurt Cobain (in our Daniel Johnston Hi How Are You tee) and Frank Zappa (sporting the classic Radio Clyde shirt); apart from the shirts, his supplies were, he reports, "Girlfriend's makeup and skinny jeans; strong rope; cardboard; spraypaint; cutting tool; wig; Harry Potter glasses." Talk about no-frills.  But we think he looks bloody fantastic.

Which rock icon will you conjure this Halloween? Whichever one you choose, take 25% off (use coupon code GHOSTROCK) and, if possible, post a photo on our Facebook page.

Surfin' Rodney

Here's something we haven't been able to do before: Show you an original photo of a famous person wearing a design, and then a new photo of them wearing our reproduction.  In fact, our version won't even be for sale until 2010, but we're so geeked about it we couldn't wait.

Rodney Bingenheimer -- KROQ-Los Angeles DJ, promoter, scenester and L.A. music god, AKA the Mayor of the Sunset Strip, first wore this ultra-stylish, essentially SoCal Surfin' tee in 1980, when KROQ was "the Roq of the '80s" and he was exposing the town to cool new-wave and pop sounds from local bands and international hipsters alike.

He donned the new version of this gorgeous tee to attend a Taschen Books event toasting his old pal Brian Wilson,  mastermind of the Beach Boys and epitome of Cali surf culture (though he has never, to our knowledge, mounted a wave himself -- a mere triviality considering his mastery in surfing the curls of melody, harmony and orchestration).

So we're pleased to present Rodney then and now: a major figure in L.A. music history, a patron saint of great independent music and a true gentleman.

Sales, sales, sales.  We've got so many coming up it's nuts.

Every week, we'll be featuring a Worn Free T-Shirt of the Week, which will be obtainable at a tasty 25% discount.  For how long, you ask?  Um, a week. Then the same deal will apply to another shirt. (We know most of you had figured that out from the title of this post, but the lawyers want us to idiot-proof this thing.)

On to business.  This week's killer deal is on the graphically devout Keith Moon Jesus Saves.
