Ryan Seacrest Goes to Chinatown
Give Ryan Seacrest the respect he deserves -- in addition to easing judging-related tensions on Idol with his breezy patter, he also hosts E! News and has even become integral to Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve extravaganzas. And he does so with a low-key charm that suggests he doesn't take himself too seriously. If you don't believe us, check out his portrayal of himself as a cranky TV martyr in Knocked Up.
So we're proud to see the man wearing our Jim Fitzpatrick Chinatown tee on the air.
The graphic on this handsome -- we daresay regal -- shirt was originally created for Fitzpatrick fans Thin Lizzy, who used it on the cover of their album Chinatown.
Fitzpatrick's best-known image, of course, is the iconic poster he created in 1968 from a photo of the revolutionary Che Guevara, whom he once met.
So the next time you're asked how to connect Ryan Seacrest and Che Guevara, you'll know. You're welcome.
