Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick: A Study in Duality
On the right side of this diptych (which recently appeared on People.com), British thespian Ed Westwick, the heartthrob co-star of TV's Gossip Girl and the upcoming Donnie Darko 2, rocks Worn Free's Joey Ramone London shirt as he makes his rugged way about town. The actor, a native of Stevenage, U.K., and frontman of scrappy rock band The Filthy Youth, will turn 21 in a few short days -- at which point, we suppose, you could theoretically buy him a pint in some Manhattan nightspot. After all, he seems like quite an approachable bloke.
But then there's that image on the left, in which this multi-talented Brit is seen in ... an argyle sweater, argyle socks, khaki shorts, two-tone shoes and a bow tie.
This is how you can dress if you have the world at your feet. And you're English. But reader, how many times must we remind you? Don't try this at home.
