Getting Their Licks
Even though countless musicians have been spotted in WF tees, it never occurred to us to recommend our wares as a band uniform. But leave it to master pop-culture photographer Allan Tannenbaum, who draped The Rolling Bones (the world's greatest Stones tribute band, we're told) in our John Van Hamersveld Skull Tongue tee for this striking Manhattan photo op. The band had just performed for thousands of bikers who'd participated in a "Freedom Ride" to raise money for people who'd grown sick in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack. Some 3000 choppers roared out of Hackensack, N.J., and rumbled their way past Ground Zero to a rally at Liberty State Park (and a set by the aforementioned Bones).
Nice work, everyone. We hope to catch the skull and Bones act on the West Coast.
