What do these two happy people have in common, apart from extremely appealing pop couture? For one thing, there's the band Big Arm, which appeared at one of the nights Mani regularly puts on in Manchester -- and in which Lisa has more than a passing personal interest.
Big Arm is fronted by original Happy Mondays member Paul Ryder (brother of Shaun); as you students of musical history are no doubt aware, the Mondays were discovered by the late, great Tony Wilson, who introduced the new Mondays lineup at Coachella just last April. Tony, you'll be missed; we link to this clip from 24 Hour Party People in your honor.
You'll see a ton of WF shirts on Paul in this dazzling clip for the Big Arm single "Sunrays," which is due out in Sept.:
The band will shortly hit the road in support of another Manchester music legend, Ian Brown; we know Lisa will be there. We expect to see you as well.
